In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve lived in perfect harmony with their Heavenly Father. There was Peace, Love, Joy, and Truth between God, them, and nature. But then the enemy deceived Eve. One of the results of their sin of disobedience was the Earth was now cursed. Mankind would suffer spiritual separation from his Heavenly Father, and was enslaved to the father of lies. Their once perfect union with each other and God would be split, and now life would be marked by strife, confusion, and abuse. Women would especially suffer under the power and dominion of ungodly men.

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? — Luke 18:6-8 <KJV>

Based on Luke 18:1-8

Jesus was discussing what would happen during the End Times, and the events surrounding his return. He then told them a parable.

Jesus was back in Jerusalem at the Temple. The religious leaders dragged a woman to where Jesus was teaching. They had her stand in the midst of the crowd in front of him.

Jesus And The Woman At The Well

The woman said, “I know the Messiah is coming–the one who is called Christ. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” Then Jesus told her, “I Am the Messiah!” — John 4:25-26 NLT

Based on John 4:1-43

For years there were whispers about the woman in the village of Sychar. After five marriages, she was now living with another man that was not her husband, and that was a bit of a scandal. She was a Samaritan, a people descended from marriages between Jews and foreigners that had settled in the area. There was a deep division between the Jews and the Samaritans. Jews would routinely travel around Samaria rather than through it.

The Centurion, a Roman officer and Gentile, demonstrates simple, yet powerful faith in God's Word. God doesn't want a bunch of religious nonsense, just people who will simply trust Him and His Word with all their heart. That's the kind of faith that impresses God!

This story is based on Simon's abundant catch of fish found in Luke in your Bible. Simon had fished all night with no success. He needed some fish. Jesus needed a place to preach. When Simon let Jesus use his boat, it opened the door for Jesus to meet his need with a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish.

This story is based on the angel Gabriel's announcement to Zacharias of the birth of his son John. Even though Zacharias was a righteous man, he still had some doubt concerning what Gabriel had said. God in His mercy gave him a gentle reminder that every Word from God can always be trusted.
